Step by Step – How ‘Dreaming of Letter B’ Was Created
I thought you all might enjoy how ‘Dreaming of Letter B’ was created step by step. First of course, comes the quick outline sketch and then I typically start each painting with what I feel is the most challenging part of any portrait painting – the face / the body. Once I feel I have mastered that part of the painting – I then proceed to branch out to the rest – to finally relaxing with the background. I end by signing my name- and the masterpiece is now complete.

Grandpa and Child – Sketch
I recently completed a commissioned sketch of a past Father and his Grandchild. A kind lady from Utah called me up and requested my services for her friend who’s father had past away. He had past away before his Grandchild was born. She requested to have a commission done of bringing the two together. The Grandfather and the grandchild. Here it is! :
