How Long Does it Take?
Depending on the medium, the concept, and how much I have on my plate to do- it generally takes on average around three months to complete.
My favorite part of creating book covers is the challenge that is delivered to me. I love the structure of a book cover and the creativity that comes from the author and the fact that I am the tools for them to create their vision - I love it! The exciting end of the challenge is the thought that my artwork will soon be sitting on the shelf of a book store- and into the hands of an excited reader. Hopefully that excited reader will then place my artwork among several other wonderful peices of work.

Price all depends on the concept of the book and what medium you choose to create it in. Generally if you are wanting color- I work in Oils. If you want Black & White I work in my SmokeBrush medium and/or Graphite.
