New Direction

Preview of my New Portfolio Style. The majority of my new art portfolio I’m working on will have this look and feel. This is also my Mother’s Day Gift to my Mom this year! It’s of my oldest brother who passed away (Chip Bornemeier ) as a child. The concept behind this piece is that I imagine my brother as ‘a kid again’ in Heaven, learning the ropes of what Heaven and God is all about. Who better to teach him, than Christ. The name of this piece ‘I Know Him’, is that my brother – as a child again – is learning as we did in Primary “I know Christ lives” , “I Know Him”. ♥

Two Little Sailors
This is a commissioned Oil Painting for a dear friend of mine that I am working on. Her grandchildren who are currently 3.5 years old were diagnosed with a rare blood condition shortly after they were born. With a bone marrow transplant and lots of prayers, we are overjoyed to say that they are now completely healed and free of any trace of the ailment they were born with.
